Dear Nick and Lisa- I want to take a minute and thank you both for the great work on our wedding. So many people came up to us and said it was the "best wedding food ever" or in the case of the cake, "the moistest carrot cake they'd ever had in their lives". I was really kicking myself for not grabbing both chicken and beef when I was in line...but I stole some of Jason's. Our vegetarian crowd was really happy and impressed. Everything from your end turned out great. I also appreciate your colaboration with KRC...I know it was kind of a pain, but the only way I could afford the beautiful wedding I got. The cake looked beautiful and believe me, I noticed the florals on the buffet table too. It was perfect. The only time I had wedding food that compared was at our Black Tie affair at the Bellagio. The only vendor I need to kill is the table people...responsible for what I like to call the "Great Table Debuacle of 2005".

Hi Nick and Lisa.

I just wanted to write to thank you for all your hard work on our wedding. I heard raves all night long about the delicious food. I barely had time to taste it myself, but everyone I spoke to enjoyed how unusual the menu was, and how delicious the food itself was. I could see people having a great time with all the dipping sauces and the chopsticks (a wonderful touch!) and the lettuce wrap station. Thank you for all the time you spent talking with me about the menu and the whole reception concept. I know there were some technical difficulties at the museuem on the day of the reception that made a lot of your job much harder, but I appreciate your professionalism in getting the job done and making it a truly great party! The cake was delicious - everybody loved the cupcakes and there was much debate about which was the best flavor. I vote for the red velvet with white chocolate icing. Please know that I will happily recommend you both in the future.

I especially enjoyed the assorted canapés, which were presented beautifully and just as delicious. Those who were lucky enough to get a piece of the chocolate explosion groom’s cake with the chocolate dipped strawberries on top raved about it! The groom’s cake was gone in a flash! The wedding cake was equally delicious. The sour cream white cake was so rich! Both cakes were as lovely as they were delicious, but the wedding cake was especially beautiful with its simplistic elegance. The cake was a huge hit, and I so appreciated your sending me the photos since I wouldn't see the cake. Several of Brittany's friends were taking the same test as she was at 1pm, so they had a cake party after and several others joined them.  The girls at the clinic - including Brittany-- were raving about how good it tasted; it was more than just a beautiful cake!  Everyone loved it and quite a few people were taking your cards so that is a good thing. I was a little apprehensive picking someone out of the yellow pages to do my baby’s first birthday cake, but my usual lady was out of town that weekend. Then, after talking to Lisa several times and seeing the website, I started to become very reassured. And, I was not the least bit disappointed! As a matter of fact, very pleasantly surprised! Cake- Lisa from Cakes by Lisa- A++ Oh my gosh. Let me first say that I was a little nervous about the cake because we had never tasted it; but were really impressed by Lisa and the photos of the other cakes she had made, and her upbeat personality so we booked her. The cake was my favorite thing to eat at the reception. Honestly, it melted in my mouth. Token said the same thing, and so did all the guests. It was so funny because I was looking around the room at people's expressions when they were eating it and I could see that they were saying to one another, "This is the best cake ever." It was so good. I can't even begin to describe it. Lisa made Token and I a separate cake "top" to put in the freezer for our one year, but I think we are going to eat it next weekend when we're back in Indy. It was gone really fast too... I wanted another piece and it was all gone!

 Wow! The dinner and the cake you both prepared for our wedding could not have been better!  Because we could create a custom menu, we were able to offer our guests something special and well suited to our beautiful surroundings at the Winery.  It's a good thing our ceremony was so short because the smell of everything cooking on the grill was making everyone hungry!  The cake was so beautiful; we loved how it too was tied into our winery surroundings by having clusters of sugared grapes placed on it.  That was such a great idea! Thank you both so much for making our special day even more enjoyable and memorable.
