This was a special request for one of our clients.  We did a replica of their wedding cake in ICE!  It was used to keep the Shrimp Cocktail chilled to just the right tempurature.

My Parents were so surprised and the cake was beautiful.  Thank you for helping us create a special moment for them on their 50th Anniversary.

Thank you for making such beautiful and elegant cakes for my daughter.  She just sent me the photos and they were even better than what I could have imagined.  She also told me they were amazing-and tasted as good as they looked.  Her sorority was surprised that I, living in Connecticut, found such a find as yourselves in Bloomington.  They were delighted because they hope to use your services for their Rush parties.  My daughter told me there was even a red velvet cake-how delicious!  Thank you again for providing such a lovely birthday surprise.

Everything you did to provide box lunches for my daughter’s bridal shower was perfect.  I can’t thank all of you enough.  The food was absolutely delicious!  I also really appreciate you being willing to do the requested extra details of adding napkins and coordinated bows.  The box lunches looked so pretty being delivered to the party and right on time too.  All the guests were impressed with their lunch and we are spreading the word of how wonderful The Cake and The Caterer is.

Nick and I wanted to send along our warmest thanks for the delicious food and the excellent service that you guys provided for our wedding reception at the Fields last weekend.  We received so many compliments on the paella & chocolate cake (which is so good that we’ve been eating it all week-we just can’t make ourselves wait to eat it at our 1 year anniversary!  The set-up for the buffet and the dining room were so classy!

We also appreciate the attention & graciousness of the serving staff.  Not only were they super attentive (one woman even brought us the last two chocolate-covered strawberries, having noticed that we hadn’t had any yet.)  They were also willing and cheerful to stay an extra hour while the party wound down!

Thanks to you guys, we feel that our wedding reception was a roaring success!  If you are ever in need of a positive reference, look no further-we give you guys an A+!

A note to give our sincere (and tardy :-) thanks for helping to make our wedding so fabulous!!  We had waited 17 years for that day and you were such a big part of it.  So many people came up to us remarking how great the reception dinner was.   From presentation and taste, to the service and clean-up, it was tops!  It just goes to show that even small towns can have top quality!  Your service was superb-you set our minds at ease regarding seating, timing, and even the weather!  So are you free for June 16, 2057?  You must cater our 50th anniversary-anyone other than The Cake and The Caterer simply won’t do!

I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful the dinner and demo was at the Holdens’.  I knew the food would be fantastic, but the demo went great too.  You had nothing to be nervous about!  Most of all, I want to thank you for all of the time and patience you put into this event.  Everything turned out beautifully and we were all very pleased with the entire evening.  Our guests had tons of compliments for you too!

Thank you for your generous donation for our Crop for the Cure.   They loved the salad!  Everyone was trying to figure out the ingredients. 

The event raised $6,300 for our local affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.   It was a great day for women.
